Psychosocial Recovery Coaching

Psychosocial recovery coaching is a specialised support service under the NDIS for people with psychosocial disabilities — mental health conditions that impact daily life and functioning. Unlike traditional mental health services, which focus on treatment and clinical care, recovery coaching is all about empowerment, personal growth, and self-management.

A Recovery Coach works closely with individuals to help them develop life skills, improve their confidence, and connect with support services. This type of coaching follows a strength-based approach, meaning it focuses on a person’s abilities rather than their limitations.
