Mary Grace Sebastian Pascual

Support Worker

Originally from the Philippines, Mary Grace spent 23 years living and working abroad in Japan before deciding Australia was the perfect place for her and her three children to call home.

In Japan, Mary Grace served four years supporting aged-care clients in medical centres. Later, she honed her business-management and people skills working as a supervisor for a car-manufacturing organisation.

Today, RE Support and Coaching is proud to have Mary Grace — and her exceptional people skills — on board as a Support Worker.

“I love swapping stories and sharing experiences of different cultures with my clients. I find when I share a story, my clients open up — they trust me — and then they start to share their own unique stories too,” Mary Grace says.

Mary Grace’s clients describe her as:

"A good listener, dependable and trustworthy, and always a very happy person to be around.”

Often, it’s the small ‘wins’ that make Mary Grace’s day.

“Sometimes it’s the little things in life that bring people peace and happiness – like having a shower or enjoying a warm cup of coffee,” Mary Grace says.

Mary Grace loves her Support Worker role so much, that after completing a Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care and Disability), she’s chosen to continue her learning journey and is currently completing a Diploma of Community Services.
