Helen Lumain

Support Worker

“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others,” — Mahatma Gandhi.

This is also Helen’s personal motto — a phrase she strives to live her life by.

Often described by her clients as “patient, compassionate and reliable”, Helen is determined to make a positive impact on the world.

For more than a decade, Helen honed her communication and collaboration skills in business as a hairdresser.

Now, as a Support Worker, Helen says her clients inspire her to learn more and give more of herself every single day.

Helen’s presence brings a sense of calm to every situation. She loves spending quality time with her clients engaging in activities that bring them joy like gardening and going for walks.

“I believe in approaching every situation with patience, positivity and teamwork,” Helen says.

“When my clients tell me they feel supported and valued, I feel a great sense of reward; it’s incredible the impact providing care and support can have on someone’s life.”
